Rich Media - Strukturelle specifikationer

Generelt holder Politiken sig til FDIM´s guidelines vedr CPU og bannerspecifikationer generelt. Se mere i menuen nederst.

Bannere må ikke indeholde mere end 1 stk. HTML-fil. ADTECH understøtter ikke eksterne js-filer. Disse skal være integreret i bannerets kildekode.

Alle elementer skal være gemt på samme niveau.
 
Filnavnene må ikke indeholde specielle karakterer (f.eks. “banner_march.gif” i stedet for “banner march.gif”.)
 
HTML eller DHTML bannere bliver uploaded i en zipfil. Disse zipfiler må ikke være komprimeret.

HTML filens kildekode
HTML’ens kildekode skal omskrives i JavaScript (i form af document write). Browser relaterede problemer, som JavaScript fejl i Netscape Navigator skal der tages højde for.
 
Kildekoden må ikke indeholde følgende TAGs: , ,
i vil blive annulleret og set bort fra. Generelt skal funktioner som kan påvirke programmeringen af websitet undgås. (F.eks. “onLoad”, o.s.v.)
 
Javascript variabler, som samles i HTML kommandoer, kan være årsag til problemer når de replikeres af en annonceserver (F.eks. variablen: “var IMG;” eller funktionen “IMGPRELOAD(
);”) hvilket ofte bliver brugt af Dreamweaver.
 
Placering af lag og DIVs inden i banneret skal være relative og ikke absolute, da den aktuelle placering bestemmes af AdTech TAG’et.
 
Konkrete DIV specifikationer:
1. Der må ikke indsættes DIV’s, der indeholder nogle former for positions-angivelser.
 
2. Der må ikke indsættes DIV’s, der indeholder nogle former for margin-angivelser.
 
3. Der må ikke indsættes DIV’s, der indeholder nogle former for alignangivelser.
 
4. Der må hverken manipulere vores DIV’s eller resten af siden.
 
Alle bannere med formularer, understøtter AdTech ikke transmissionen POST (METHOD=”POST”), da det ikke kan bruges som redirect.
Alle disse bannere skal omprogrammeres til METHOD=”GET”. Når metoden GET bruges, må længden af URL’en ikke være længere end 1.012 Bytes (256 karakterer). Det er meget
vigtigt at HTML og DHTML bannere fungerer lokalt.
 
Javascript
Annoncøren bør i størst muligt omfang anvende funktionaliteter via flash. I visse tilfælde kan det være nødvendit at anvende javascript.
 
Javascripts skal testes nøje af annonceproducenten i de mest almindelige webbrowsere og
operativsystemer (F.eks. Explorer, Firefox, Opera og Safari).
 
Politiken Annoncer har ikke mulighed for at teste og rette fejlbehæftede javascripts. Kode som er årsag til problemer på sitet fjernes omgående.
 
• Sæt eget præfix foran variabler og funktionsnavne, fx:
company_myFunction(); eller var company_myString=”string”;
Dette for at undgå konflikt med øvrige annoncer eller Politiken.dk's egen kode. Det er også okay at anvende forkortelser eller på anden måde skabe unikke præfix.
 
• Al annoncekode skal placeres inline i html-siden. Derfor kan anvendes tags med indhold. Der kan ikke placeres kode hvor som helst i dokumentet, fx. i header eller bunden af dokumentet, hvilket kan skabe problemer fx. ved initiering.
 
• Window events må ikke anvendes med mindre andet aftales.
 
• Det er ikke tilladt at scripte mod andre objekter udenfor eget annonceareal.
 
• Der kan opstå problemer med klikmålingen når links genereres eller eksekveres via Javascript. Annoncer uden klikmåling accepteres, men annonceproducenten bør informere sin kunde om det.

Rich Media - Structural Specifications
 
Banners can not contain more than 1 pc. HTML file. ADTECH does not support external js files. These must be integrated into the banner's source code.

Java Scripts must be tested carefully by ad producer in the most common Web browsers and 
operating systems (eg. Explorer, Firefox, Opera and Safari). 
 
Politiken Ads are not able to test and fix faulty JavaScripts. Code that is causing problems on the site is removed immediately. 
 
• Set your own prefix in front of variables and function names, eg: 
company_myFunction (); or was company_myString = "string"; 
This is to avoid conflict with other ads or Politiken.dk's own code. It's also okay to use abbreviations or otherwise create unique prefix. 
 
• All ad code must be placed inline in the HTML page. Therefore, use tags with content. There can not be placed code anywhere in the document, eg. in the header or the bottom of the document, which can create problems for example. at initiation. 
 
• Window events may not be used unless otherwise agreed. 
 
• It is not allowed to script against other objects outside their own adspace. 
 
• There may be problems with the click measurement when links are generated or executed via JavaScript. Ads without click measurement acceptable, but ad producer should inform his client about it.
